I’ve spent over 11 years in the field of Early Learning — Most of my time spent working for non-profits like Head Start, a family support agency and later a Director in the field of EL&C. At my core, I’m a child and family advocate. Supporting connection, growth, and the understanding of families that make up our community has always been the foundation of my work.
It only makes sense after many years of changing my niche and ongoing creative experimentation that I came back to what I truly love the most-- Telling families stories.
My previous work experience has become a kind of superpower when it comes to photography — especially with children. I know how to meet them where they are, how to read their cues, and how to create a space where they feel safe, seen, and free to be themselves. I bring a sensory-minded, child-friendly approach to every session, and I truly value the connection we build in the process.
Photography gives me the chance to document what I observe and feel on the inside and turn it into something visual — something families can look back on and feel deeply connected to. I love capturing those quiet moments, real expressions, and the unique bonds that make each family special.
